Wool Technologies operates a factory and wool processing facility located in Christchurch, New Zealand. Wholly owned by John Marshall and Company, we are the only producer in the world of Joma Wool.
Our expert team create a wide array of processed wools, to specification, for local and global businesses. We also offer a range of in-house wools and manufactured woollen products for sale.

Over four decades of operation, we have built up a large stable of wool processing equipment and specialty production machinery. From our trusted workhorses to new, state-of-the-art acquisitions, our machines can scour, sanitise and process all types of wool, and transform it into a variety of forms suitable for product manufacture.

Many of the wools we produce achieve stringent global certifications, including OEKO-TEX 100.

Our specialty crimped wool product, Joma Wool, is available in a range of forms including knots, batting and needled wool.

An uncrimped version of Joma Wool®, ideal for manufacturers seeking to create lower cost polyester blends.

Weed Mat
We collect our waste wool and use it to create Wool Mat, an organic weed mat for the horticultural industry. This 100% biodegradable product is ideal for suppressing weeds, retaining moisture and combating erosion.
